It’s been a few days since there was any interesting Anna Nicole news, and while the Barbie party dress she was allegedly buried in wasn’t newsy enough for me to stop hitting the snooze alarm and write about her, the E! story about the M.E. was.

While it might seem pretty anti-climactic that the Medical Examiner has the autopsy results but isn’t releasing them, the fact that he’s waiting until the police “conclude their investigation” seems to lead us right to the conclusion that it was drugs, and the police are trying to figure out if there should be any criminal charges filed. Add that to the reports her bodyguard gave police that Howard Stern’s activity that day was “suspicious,” and well, you do the math.

Now I can wait for the police to figure it out until I have to write about her again. Unless, you know, something really good comes along like coming back from the dead or something.
