Starting early this morning, news reports began flying around that Johnny Depp’s 7-year-old daughter Lily-Rose was rushed to the hospital with an undisclosed illness. As it turns out, however, according to TMZ, she’s actually been in the hospital for over a week. They reference In Touch, who claims that the illness is actually a blood infection that resulted from stepping on a rusty nail.
What’s been going on in the week since she was first hospitalized that no one reported it, I wonder? It’s not like they were even home in France; the family is in the UK while Depp works on Tim Burton’s film version of Sweeney Todd. The UK loves the tabloids just as much, if not more, than the United States, so someone must have been sleeping on the job.
At any rate, the International Herald Tribune has a report from Depp’s publicist that Lily-Rose is doing much better. For all those of you who weren’t worried at all the past nine days.
Someone emailed me today that Johnny Depp died in Paris yesterday. Is this at all true? He is such a wonderful actor. The entertainment world would miss him. Please let me know. I have searched and can not find anything to validate this rumor. Thank you.
