I don’t blame Kelly Clarkson one bit. I’d be pissed off too if some senile old codger wanted me to cover a Lindsay Lohan song. Who wants that girl’s leftovers? But I guess I’m still surprised by the level of unprofessional behavior Davis has stooped to in order to savage Kelly Clarkson’s latest album, due out at the end of this month.
I mean, it was “leaked” that he wasn’t happy with the album and wanted to scrap it. It was “leaked” that he offered her $10 million to scrap five of the songs and let him replace them with the same formulaic crap that’s already on the radio. And then the deliberate dis on the American Idol Finale?
Now her summer tour is on hold and being “reconfigured” due to low ticket sales. What a vindictive shit he is that he would sabotage someone just to prove he’s right. Why not let the album come out and sink or swim on it’s own?
It gives me great joy that the fantabulous suck fest that is the “chosen song” for this year’s winner, Jordin Sparks, is totally bottoming out on the charts. Maybe he’s not so great at picking the hits after all.
I offered Clive a giant fuck you today when I pre-ordered Kelly’s album. I don’t care if it’s the worst album ever released in the history of the world. This man is the devil and he must be stopped.
