Ben Stiller was the Ivy League’s Hasty Pudding Man of the Year for 2007. I know it’s an award from one of the oldest theater groups ever, but what a weird award. It looks so lame that it must have been awesome.
“The awards are given to performers who have made a lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment,” said the Hasty Pudding Theater Rep.

… that when he signed on to star in The Hardy Men it did NOT mean that HARDY MEN would be available for him.
For some reason that I cannot fathom (and I’m sure the movie going public will disappoint me and “get it”), Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise will be starring in a modern-day Hardy Boys movie, where the brothers have grown up, grown apart, and then reunite to solve a case, at least according to E! Online.
I can’t imagine ANYTHING less funny than Tom Cruise in a movie with Ben Stiller playing a Hardy Boy, but then again, the American people think Norbit is worth going to see, so who am I to judge?
