I fail to understand why someone who seems to have a pretty decent career feels the need to stoop this low. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Jason Lee has signed on to play David Seville in a live-action movie of Alvin and the Chipmunks. No, I’m not making that up. Go see for yourself.

Now, in case you are thinking that it must be some big-name director that lured Lee in, think again, because this is the same guy who inflicted Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties upon us.

One can only assume that the paycheck is worth it.
