While the yodeling and overall non-musicality of last Saturday’s SNL performance by the usually uber-cool and uber-hot Ms. Stefani were certainly alarming enough, two things seem glaringly apparent.
The first mystery is whether or not that was actually Gwen Stefani up there. There is a distinct possibility that Melanie Griffith dragged out her costume from Cecil B. Demented and decided to yodel with a bunch of Harajuku Girls. Here’s hoping that was actually the case, and that Gwen hasn’t really gone off the deep end performance-wise.
