Absolutely nothing. But that didn’t stop Rosie from using the controversy to get another mention on the People web site for her comments about the American Idol controversy.
The problem with this entry is that I totally agree with her. Well, not so much about the racist part so much as the glaringly obvious fact that American Idol ditched Frenchie Davis back in Season Two because a fat girl was going to blow the competition out of the water and Antonella Barba gets to stay even after we’ve seen almost all of her because, well, guys hope she’ll blow THEM.

Baba Wawa returned from her vacation from The View and kept the Rosie O’Donnell/Donald Trump media frenzy going for JUST a bit longer. Urged by ABC to clarify that he’d never filed for PERSONAL bankruptcy, only bankruptcy for his BUSINESSES, she added that she was not unhappy with her decision to hire O’Donnell and the ratings showed it.
Of course, The Donald grabbed whatever media outlet would give him 10 minutes to blare his annoying trumpet, and claimed that Baba was lying through her teeth and really, truly, hates Rosie as much as he does.
Then again, maybe Baba can’t stand Rosie personally, but the old girl knows a ratings goldmine when she sees it. What has Trump done for her lately? Sure not improved the ratings of her estrogen-fest.

Rosie O’Donnell Apologizes for Asian Joke on the View!
The infamous Asian Joke which ran during a segment of the December 5 taping of the show where Rosie O’Donnell’s attempt at humor by speaking in mock Chinese was found to be very appalling and Anti-Chinaman-Semitic. Rosie addressed the beginning of today’s show with an apology noting how… he was “sorry” and didn’t know she was being offensive until she asked fellow employee…Let’s call her Judy, who’s Asian and works in the hair and makeup department, if the joke was offensive to her? Judy’s Reply was, ‘Well, kinda. When I was a kid people did tease me by saying ching-chong.”
Later Judy was said to accept Rosie’ s apology of 3 pints of Guinness after work.
Reportedly Michael Richards has stood by Rosie’s side by commenting that to him “Their All A Bunch of Niggers”.
