Celebitchy is the proud owner of The Enquirer I never read today, and quotes from an article in which Randy Jones from the faboo 70s stars The Village People calls American Idol’s Simon Cowell a raging queen. He claims his gaydar goes off every time he watches the show (Randy Jones’ gaydar, that is), and he isn’t sure why Simon doesn’t just come out of the closet since it’s no longer a liability in Hollywood, or so he claims.

Simon Cowell has claimed he leave American Idol if surprise Top 12 finalist Sanjaya Malakar were to win, saying “He’s not going to win. I won’t be back if he does!”
Never one to mince words about how sucky some of the contestants are, you’d think he’d learn by now that comments like that are only going to encourage the sympathy vote. Although if Sanjaya lasts one more week, I’m going to be leaving the show myself.
I’m a long-time American Idol fan, and the main reason is Simon Cowell. It’s so refreshing to see someone telling people like it is instead of blowing sunshine up their asses; you really hope that even if some of these folks do go on to be rich and famous, they still have that little voice recording of Cowell cutting them down that keeps them from buying into the whole Hollyweird system.
At any rate, Simon recently had some comments about the Britneys et. al. with their whining and moaning and rehabbing:
Apparently tired of going after The Donald. Rosie O’Donnell joined the media frenzy after this week’s American Idol shows, claiming that the judges were “mean” and that people don’t watch to see them berate or mock contestants.
Here’s a newsflash: yes, that’s EXACTLY why we watch.
