Last week, the girlfriend of model/singer/actor Tyrese called police after the two had an argument. Various online reports alleged he had punched his 11-weeks pregnant girlfriend in the arm, thigh, or stomach. 

Now TMZ reports that the woman’s lawyer states that no physical abuse took place, and the woman merely called 911 for a “mediator.” You’ll pardon Juicy Rumors for the eye roll here; 911 is meant for emergencies, not for calling in Jimmy Carter to help two warring factions iron out their differences. No charges were filed, although police say they would still like to talk to Tyrese about what happened. And perhaps about moving out for the duration of the pregnancy?
